Rest to recover is a basic human need, and I have never been more aware of that than today. So much enjoying resting and recovering today from the last 6 days of traveling 300+ miles on a bicycle. Reading extra in my Bible and praying for everybody as I lay on my soft bed propped up by 4 pillows with the thermostat set on 65 degrees.  We will be back on the road tomorrow at 6 am with an easy day of 44 miles to Richland, Oregon. A few small hills and mostly flat and gradual downhill as we follow the powder river to The Snake River and Brownlee reservoir. We will be camping at Huett Park right on the Powder River arm of the reservoir. I am really hoping and praying that the super sore spots on my bottom will have healed and I will enjoy riding without so much pain. Love you all.

Thank You Lord that for almost every uphill there is a downhill! Marv and Jeremy are helping Mike with youth group rafters in Maupin (Donna home with sore back). But I’m sure YOU are in their prayers, as in mine. God strengthen and bless you!

Wondering why the time stamp immediately following deefduke (below post) shows “10:04pm” a full 7 hours AFTER what the current time now is? Guess computers really do have their own reality!

Thank you Debbie! I have some bag balm and am using it generously. Being an old dairy farmer it is still my number one remedy for mos things. Love you

Hey Pastor Dee, what a wild and crazy couple of guys you and John are! Praying for your safety, successful trip and now that achy-brachy hind end of yours. LOL (not funny I know). Love ya and miss ya, although Pastor Mike is doing great job.
