This is a picture of the boat I am building. It will be a 23 foot ocean going dory. I am enjoying very much the challenge of building the boat and the learning that I am doing as I build it. Doing this sort of thing is what I do for play which renews my emotional energy tank. Burnout, weariness, and even some forms of depression are basically running out of emotional energy. Refilling our emotional energy gas tank is a skill that those who carry a heavy load need to learn if they want to continue accomplishing a lot with their life.
